MBWD Operators will begin their spring flushing and tank cleaning maintenance on March 24th and will continue through to approximately April 17th.
The schedule will be as follows (subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances):
March 24-26 –Tank cleaning Mill Springs Reservoir and Deloume Rd
March 31 – Flushing Mill Springs Deloume Rd West and North Areas
April 1 – Flushing Bucktail and Frayne Rd West Areas
April 2 – Flushing Day Lodgepole/Deloume South Area
April 2 – Night Flushing #1 East side of the highway
April 7 – Night Flushing #2 West side of the Highway
April 8 – Flushing North Section of System
April 9 – Flushing Frayne/Mill Bay Rd South Area
April 14 – Flushing Partridge/Bay/Mill Bay Rd Area
April 15 – Flushing Sentinel Dr/Bickford Way Area
April 16 – Flushing Liggett Rd and Noowick Rd Area
April 17 – Flushing Huckleberry, Hunter, Bidston and Springbank Area
While flushing is underway, short periods of low pressure and discoloured water may be experienced. Any discolouration is temporary and not a health hazard. If you experience any discolouration in your water, it is recommended that you run a cold water tap in a bathtub for several minutes until the water runs clear. If the problem persists, please contact our office.
